The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization has been accused of neglecting the significance of the International Day of The BoyChild.
Mr Ayo Salako, a Nigerian has taken to his X(Twitter) handle to call out UNESCO. According to him, he pointed out the obvious neglect of the BoyChild by the organization months ago, which was repelled.
UncleAyo, as he his popularly known on X noted that noted that today, May 16th which is the International Day of the BoyChild, UNESCO has no activities lined up nor tweet about the importance of the BoyChild.
He said “4 months ago, these interactions happened and you repelled my claims. Alright, today is International Day of the boychild.Not one tweet from you. Zero activites lined up.What has the boychild done to you?”
“Your neglect of the boychild will come at a price.” Ayo, warned.
He continued and said “The girls/women you’re SOLELY catering for will not thrive in a society of broken men.You are a demonic organization with a strategic agenda to reductify the boychild.
He then further stated that the UNESCO only celebrate the girl child, as seen on the various scholarships, schemes and awareness programs rolled out yearly. “On the international day of the girl child – you roll out scholarships, schemes, celebrate her, raise awareness.”
“This is the first tweet that you’re making on the international day of the boychild. What has the boychild done to you?” He queried.
According to Ayo Salary who is a scholar, “Since you launched 8 years ago, all the scholarship tags on your handle have been solely for the girl child, including this tweet from 3 days ago.”
“Today is the International Day of the boychild, and not one tweet from you. What do you have against the boychild? Is the boychild not child enough What is the calculated agenda against the boychild?” He lamented.
