Shakeer Adedayo Oshodi, Esq., Principal Partner at Robert Clarke SAN & Ade Oshodi Partners, has been awarded the SDNON Excellence in Legal Innovation Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to legal practice in Nigeria. The honor was conferred during a formal ceremony held on Friday, May 2, by the Society of Digital Newspaper Owners of Nigeria (SDNON).

The award presentation was anchored by SDNON President, Mr. Adeniyi Ifetayo, who evoked the spirit of civic duty with a quote from John F. Kennedy: “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” According to Ifetayo, this principle encapsulates Oshodi’s professional ethos—a career marked by legal innovation and social responsibility.
The event drew key SDNON executives including Oluwaseun ‘Seunmanuel’ Faleye, General Secretary, and Kanyinulia Okeke, Public Relations Officer, alongside respected legal professionals and associates.

With over 20 years in legal practice, Oshodi holds LLB and LLM degrees from the University of Lagos and was appointed Notary Public in 2014. His legal career spans a wide array of specializations, including Corporate Law, Oil & Gas, Aviation, Property Law, and Criminal Law.
Leadership Beyond the Courtroom
In August 2022, Oshodi co-led the strategic merger that formed Robert Clarke SAN & Ade Oshodi Partners, significantly broadening the firm’s legal footprint. Under his leadership, the firm has prioritized pro bono advocacy—underscoring his commitment to accessible justice.
Beyond his legal achievements, Oshodi is an active community leader and sportsman. He serves as Vice President of the Eko Club and is a longstanding member of Ikoyi Club 1938. His interests span chess, team sports, and aquatic activities—highlighting a well-rounded personal and professional life.
